Rotary International What would it take to change the world? Rotary International is the
world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million
members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers
who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger,
improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training,
promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
Rotary District 5160 Rotary is essentially a grass roots organization with most of our
service efforts carried out at the club level. The district structure is
designed to support the clubs and help them provide more service in
their communities and abroad. Rotary Clubs are nonreligious,
nonpolitical, and open to every race, culture, and creed. Members
represent a cross section of local business, professional, and community
leaders.
The nonprofit Horseplay Therapeutic Riding Center offers a year-round therapeutic recreational horseback-riding program for special needs children and adults.
CASA of Solano County advocates for abused, neglected, and other identified children within the court system, with the belief that every child is entitled to a safe and stable home.
